Des Moines, IA (PRWEB) November 16, 2009 –- Better Homes and Gardens Network’s recently launched Recipe.com today announced a program for its Twitter followers. Everyone who becomes a follower of @Recipedotcom (http://www.twitter.com/recipedotcom) on Twitter between now and November 25, 2009, will receive a free eBook that includes 64 holiday recipes.

“All of the recipes in the eBook have been tested in the Better Homes and Gardens Test Kitchen,” said Jeff Myers, Vice President/General Manager of Special Interest Media. “This includes a variety of quick recipes and easy meal ideas -- including appetizers, salads, meats, potatoes, stuffings, side dishes, and desserts -- that can be mixed and matched to create great holiday menus.”
Consumers can also get additional holiday ideas at Recipe.com, including more than 20,000 of the best recipes from several of the top food brands and recipe websites. The new website has also added thousands more Thanksgiving recipes for dinner, dessert, and more, as well as Christmas recipes leading up to the holidays. These seasonal recipes are in addition to standard categories such as quick and easy chicken recipes, low calorie recipes, and healthy cooking recipes.
In addition to housing a wealth of branded recipes, Recipe.com has several additional features: • A photo accompanies every recipe on the site. • More than 2,300 different categories of recipes can be easily found and browsed, with the most popular recipes within each category being highlighted. • Real-time rankings of the day’s most popular recipes and recipe searches from the site are displayed on every page. • A weekly e-newsletter, Your Weekly Dish (https://secure.recipe.com/common/profile/quicksignupNewUser.jsp), features a variety of partner recipes in each edition. • Daily giveaways. • Twitter updates at http://www.twitter.com/recipedotcom
